How do I get help with FLO as a student?

There are two ways to get help in FLO; through the support portal and the help menu. Help with FeedbackFruits is also available from within the activity.

Support portal (browser only)

The Support portal (the question mark icon on the right side of the page) gives you contextual information on how to use FLO. Submitting an assignment? Open the support portal and you’ll see articles on the different submission types. In a discussion? You’ll see articles on subscribing to a thread and formatting your reply.

If you need further assistance, the portal also links to phone, email and chat support, which are available 24/7.

Help menu (browser and Canvas app)

The Help menu contains a list of resources to help you with Canvas, and key links for students. It can be found at the bottom of the Global Navigation.

There are seven resources:

Canvas Support Hotline: talk to a support representative
Student Portal: Access Compass, your student portal
Library: Access the Flinders University Library

Build Enterprise and Professional Identity: Supporting you to prepare for and step into your career

Help menu

If you are accessing FLO from your phone, click on the menu icon in the top right corner of your screen, then select Help.

App help

FeedbackFruits

A purple question mark with a while speech bubble inside of it. Help using FeedbackFruits is available inside FeedbackFruits, by clicking on the help button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Written resources are available 24/7 and live support is available 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
